Dr. Amy Winkler has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State and a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology.
After completing her academic and clinical requirements for a Doctor of Audiology degree, Dr. Winkler also completed a one-year externship at Pacific Northwest Audiology.
She has a true passion for working with Pediatrics and is committed to playing a role in the care of children with hearing loss. Dr. Winkler is dedicated to caring for others and educating individuals about the impact of their hearing loss.
In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, and exploring all that Central Oregon has to offer.Dr. Ashley Penner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Biola University in Los Angeles, CA and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology.
Her passion for Audiology began in high school when she learned American Sign Language. Dr. Penner believes communication plays a key role in relationships and is eager to improve communication through better hearing. She is a strong believer in educating patients and helping them make their best decision for better hearing.
Dr. Penner is proficient with all hearing aid manufacturers. Her passion is finding the best match for what works for her patients’ lives. She enjoys getting to know her patients and is always down for a good laugh.
When she is not at work, Dr. Penner enjoys spending time with her husband, Sam, and husky, River. She also enjoys hiking, biking, and being outdoors in general.
Dr. Mary Joyce Woody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Woody has been licensed as an Audiologist since 2012. Prior to joining the team at Pacific Northwest Audiology, she worked in a private practice that allowed her to enjoy the cultures of Missouri and Colorado before bringing her to Oregon.
She prides herself on providing excellent patient care and experiences true enjoyment in helping her patients live healthier and happier lives through improved communication.
Outside of Audiology, she enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, baking, and exploring new cities with her husband, James, daughter, Evelyn, and cat, Mew Shoo.Lindsay, a native of Las Vegas, now lives in Bend where she can be found rock climbing and skateboarding with her dog, Peter.
Lindsay will greet you as you enter our office with a smile that makes you feel at home. As the Patient Care Coordinator, she will assist you with preparations to ensure you're ready for your appointment with our audiologists. She is great at communication and good at what she does.

Kristy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Communication from Marylhurst University, founded in Oregon in 1893. She also received a Certificate of Mediation from the University.
Kristi has wide-ranging experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including checking in and routing patients to the right Doctor, verifying patient benefits with insurance programs, and a host of other duties.
Above all, she is responsible for your satisfaction, so she will guide you through a pleasant and fulfilling clinical experience.
Kristi is an avid bike enthusiast and still competes in racing, which she didn’t start until her 39th year! She shares her achievements with her two children, because she wants to show them that “you are never too old or too late to try something new.” But most of all, she enjoys the scenery while riding the roads less travelled!Kristen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Services from Northern Illinois University, with an emphasis in health and human sciences.
As an Audiology Lab Assistant, Kristen maintains audiological equipment; cleans, trouble shoots, and repairs hearing aids, and helps with a host of other patient support functions.
Kristen’s previous position was with Central Oregon Radiology Associates, where she was a medical assistant and responsible for both administrative and technical support to patients. While there, she gained valuable experience working with patients in a medical setting, which will be a continuing benefit for our team.
Melisa Zimmerman has her Doctorate in Operations and Management and undergraduate degree in Marketing. Her passion at Pacific Northwest Audiology is to provide an experience that exceeds what is expected in a medical setting.
With years of experience in the hearing healthcare industry and her own personal family experiences, she understands the necessity for better hearing. She is sharing her philosophy with staff at Pacific Northwest Audiology and empowering them to treat each patient on an individualized basis to ensure everyone has a chance to hear the best they can.
In her time outside of the office, her husband Jacob and her have a loving and active family, Riley (15) and Mason (11) that keep them busy and entertained. You'll find her cheering her family on in all sorts of sports and outdoor events.
