Pacific Northwest Audiology is an independent hearing care practice in Bend/Redmond, Oregon. Founded in 2012, we’ve grown into a practice of two locations serving thousands of patients in Central Oregon, while keeping that local and personal feel.
We’re known for delivering high-quality hearing care and an exceptional patient experience, with a goal of turning patients into friends, evidence-based fitting, and ongoing relationships.
This isn’t just a “job”. It’s an opportunity to be part of a team that has built a reputation for taking care of our patients and being there for them through their whole hearing journey.
We’re now seeking someone who wants to join our team, show us the commitment we’ll show them, and be part of shaping the future of audiology in our community.
There is honor in serving the people we serve. These are patients who struggle to keep up in conversation, who miss punchlines, jokes, and whispers. They have big events coming up: weddings, graduations, football games where their grandson is getting announced on the loudspeaker in front of a crowd. Many are retired from a job they’re proud of having done for many years. They’re finding their footing after working and raising a family has come to an end. They have stories to tell, advice to give, and they enjoy getting to know the person who’s helping them reconnect to those they love most.
That person could be you.
Although your education and experience play a key role in this process, your personality traits and attitude are top priority. We’re looking for a team member who thrives off working alongside other high performers. Someone who puts their patients and their co-workers before themselves. Someone who will go the extra mile for their neighbor and looks at their patients as if they were caring for their own parent or grandparent.
If this is how your co-workers and friends would describe you, then we may be the ideal match:
• Always happy, smiles a lot, positive attitude, a pleasure to be around (funny doesn’t hurt).
• Friendly, warm, caring, a people person, and it comes across the very first time someone meets you, even on the telephone.
• Patient, compassionate, helpful, especially with older people. Even-tempered, calm, always pleasant, unflappable. Has a knack for turning a frown into a smile.
• Committed, dedicated, a great teammate, pitches in without being asked, puts team accomplishments ahead of individual accomplishments.
• Accurate, detailed, wants to get things right, double-checks their own work, makes very few mistakes.
• Owns it. Credits others for successes and accepts responsibility for failures. Always looking for a constructive way to solve a problem.
• Coachable, accepts feedback with a positive attitude. Always looking for ways to grow and improve.
• Reliable, dependable, doesn’t just arrive on time but often comes in a little early to make sure they’re prepared for the day. Willing to stay late when there’s work that needs doing or a patient needs us.
These statements also describe the people you’ll be working alongside, meaning you’ll quickly discover this is much more than a group of co-workers, it feels like “your kind of people”.
